I conduct in person sessions in my office in Blairsville and live, online video sessions using doxy.me.
I want to let you know about a new service I offer that makes it easier for patients to get behavioral health care, substance use treatment and helps add a resource for North Georgia consumers. I use Doxy.me to conduct live, on-line, secure video counseling. This service allows consumers to meet with me on screen in the comfort of their own homes. And, you don’t have to live in Georgia to benefit from on-line counseling as I am licensed in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. I can provide on-line counseling in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida through Doxy.me.
If you prefer in person, in the North Georgia area, you can schedule an appointment to meet in-office in Blairsville, GA.
The convenience of on-line counseling means that those patients who are not able to get to the office visit can now get help in their own home. These hard-to-reach patients may live in remote areas, be housebound, have trouble lining up childcare, or just have too much going on in their lives to commit to regular therapy sessions. Doxy.me is easy to use - all that is needed is a computer, webcam, Firefox or Chrome browser and broadband internet access. If you are a Doctor, Doxy.me can make your life easier, too, by giving you a faster way to direct patients to behavioral health services.
I specialize in treatment of anxiety disorders, depressive disorders and substance use disorders among Adults and Adolescents. I utilize Motivational Interviewing techniques and Cognitive Behavioral techniques to assist patients toward a change process that will improve their quality of life. I have over 30 years direct clinical experience in treating individuals and families effected by mental health and substance use disorders.
